I am looking to make some flashing indicators for vehicles in a driving
simulator. Am I right in thinking that using a pfSequence is the best
method? I initially thought of just using a pfSwitch, but the pfSequence
seems better as it can display the 'frames' for specific lengths of
time. For an indicator it is preferable that I simply start the
flashing, then stop it when a vehicle has finished it's turn (like a
pfSequence can do), but a pfSwitch would require explicit ON and OFF
commands for every flash (is this right?).
Now, we use MultiGen as the modeller. I know that MultiGen can make
pfSwitch nodes, but does anyone know if I can make a pfSequence
equivalent node in MultiGen? If not, I guess I can just make all the
geometry in MultiGen for the different states then build the pfSequence
in my application. Is there a better solution, as that process seems a
bit longwinded?
thanks,
Andrew Bailey
