Job description:
Join the visualization and virtual reality (Vis&VR) team within the High
End Computing group of SARA. The Vis&VR team cooperates with universities
and the industry in projects where the added value of VR is exploited in
many application areas, like biology, biochemistry, fluid dynamics,
architecture, CAD, engineering, medicine, GIS, design etc. The VR
facilities at SARA include a CAVE[tm] and an ImmersaDesk.
Desired experience and skills:
=85 thorough knowledge of computer graphics
=85 extensive experience with Unix, C/C++, OpenGL
=85 experience with virtual reality is desirable
=85 experience with Open Inventor and IRIS Performer is a plus
=85 team spirit and customer oriented
=85 creative, flexible, independent
Educational background:
Academic degree in informatics
