Your vega examples under the demo/pguide directory should have a function
that gets keyboard inputs. It's something like vgGetWinKey. There should be
a case 's' that invokes performer stats.

On a broader note, a couple of years ago I did some Dvr using a vega
applications, and there was an include I had to use - one for those
functions which were done in performer yet were not yet implemented in vega
- I think it was vgPerf.h.
