iopen,iclose, getrow,putrow
are defined in libimage.a part of
gl_dev.sw.gldev in the IRIX distribution
of OpenGL

If you are using VC++ you might
go to Project -> Settings -> Link
and add the library name which is
equivalent to libimage.a in the
opengl disribution for Windows.

But I am not sure whether the windows
distribution has something like libimage.
