I don't think that you can add a channel to a DCS. When I
needed to do this, I made a DCS and in my editing window
attached a small camera model to it. Each frame I get the
DCS's matrix and compute the pfChannel's view matrix using
the DCS's matrix. The DCS moves my model in the editing
window and in the channel for my playback window moves to
match it.
