pfdLoadFile error message

I've been getting this problem while using the pfdLoadFile() for loading
an iv file.

I get the following error message:

PF Warning: pfdFindConverterDSO() - Could not load DSO for extension "iv
"
PF Warning: pfdLoadFile() - Unable to load file
./Av_540107271_head.iv

The peculiarity of the problem is, the application is able to locate the
performer dso for the iv loader while loading iv files at the beginning of
the application. But when the iv file is to be loaded dynamically from a
set of iv files, while the application is running, I get this error.

I'm using pthreads in the application but don't really know if this should
affect the performer loading its DSO's. I'm quite ignorant about how
pthreads work and just wanted to make sure that this error is not because
of that. I'm yet to try this with a sproc version.
