Tammy,

Try loading the flt file into Perfly. Turn on the scene graph. If you
see two nodes (one under a DCS and one not), you know their are two
copies of the geometry in the flt file (or the MultiGen loader is
creating the extra copy as it loads the file). You may have instanced
the ladder in the flt file.
