There aren't any serious problems with this configuration that I'm
aware of, and no patches (although Performer 2.2.2 is the latest
revision for 6.3).

My first guess is that you have a mismatch between your performer_eoe
and performer_dev versions. IRIX 6.3 shipped with performer_eoe
2.0.3, if I recall correctly. If you've loaded performer_dev 2.1 on
top of that (without replacing performer_eoe with the 2.1 version
also), programs you compile will not work.

If this is the case I'd recommend you completely remove both performer_eoe
and performer_dev from the system, and reinstall them both from the 2.1 cd.

Also, you might consider upgrading to 2.2.x sometime soon.
