Since it is provided by SGI as a free tool, support is minimal.
Any problems can be posted the info-performer mail alias.
We have just recently made version 1.1 of ClipGen available
on our Developer's Toolbox website. This version has a number
of bug fixes, and performance improvements over previous versions.
Stay tuned for 1.2, which will include some sample imagery
which we are still getting legal to approve the distribution.

First you need to register at Developer Central:
http://www.sgi.com/developers/program/memberforms/online.html
You will get a username and password. Don't lose them.
ClipGen can be found under imaging in Witches Brew at:
https://toolbox.sgi.com/toolbox/src/exampleCode/WitchesBrew/
Click on images/dist directory under clipgen.
Click the button to generate a tar file of the entire dist directory.
Click to down load.
