Hopefully this will sound like a very simple question to
someone, but it is so rarely done that I can't find help here.
I have an application that I built by modifying perfly.
I'm still using the makefile that comes with Performer. What
I want to do now is run my application on a machine that doesn't
have performer. In order to do this I understand I have to do
a Static Compile. (Compiling in all the libraries to create one
executable file to transfer to another machine.)
Is there someone out there that could give me some pointers?
I tried -B Static and linking in /usr/lib/Performer/Static but I
haven't been able to get it to work on the new machine. It still
looks for the libraries. A Makefile which does this would be
ideal.
Thanks much for your help, once again sorry for the simple
question.
