the following application areas:
Real-Time Simulation Visualization Programmers: (Multiple Openings)
Job Description:
Research, design, and implement cutting edge 3D graphics algorithms for
dynamic level-of-detail utilizing OpenGL and Direct3D. This will include
tessellation, deformation, simplification, and texturing of an arbitrary
triangle mesh in real-time. The target platforms will include Performer/OpenGL
on SGIs and DirectX/OpenGL on PCs.
Job Requirements:
Must have a strong OO C++ background and good problem solving skills.
Real-time 3D graphics experience in OpenGL and/or immediate mode DirectX is
strongly desired. Performer, Vega, or OpenGVS experience is a plus. The
ability to work well in a structured team environment and produce clean,
well documented code is very important. Game development experience is also
a big plus. The ability to obtain a security clearance is required.
Scientific Visualization Programmer:
Job Description:
Software Engineering support for development for a multimedia training tool
used to teach naval sensor employment in a mission-based setting. The tool
incorporates three-dimensional graphics, scenario animations, audio, and
scientific visualization methods to illustrate complex physical interactions.
DAS engineers develop three-dimensional visualization software to illustrate
the interaction of acoustic energy with the undersea environment.
Job Requirements:
Proficiency in C++ and C required. Must have experience in OpenGL and Motif
in a Unix environment. Must be able to work in a team environment utilizing a
rapid prototyping development methodolgy. Must have strong communications
skills and be able to hold a secret clearance.

extraction from remotely sensed imagery.
