Hi pf's,

Sorry, I think I should have been more specific with respect to my
problems explanation.
I am running Irix 6.5.0 with pf 2.2 (unfortunately I don't have pf 2.2.3
and Irix 6.5.3)
I am using an ONYX with 2 RE2 with 4RM each

I build my pf app linked against Irigl (-DIRISGL)

To display my special channels, the pipe requires its frame buffer to be
configured with both a normal and a multi-sample zbuffer. The normal
zbuffer is used by light sources to cast shadows.
Accumulation buffer is used for Depth-Of-Field and Exposure Control
camera effects.

That's my FB configuration:

  int fbAttributes[] = {
    PFFB_RGBA,
    PFFB_DOUBLEBUFFER,

    PFFB_RED_SIZE, 12,
    PFFB_GREEN_SIZE, 12,
    PFFB_BLUE_SIZE , 12,
    PFFB_ALPHA_SIZE, 12,

    PFFB_DEPTH_SIZE, 32,

    PFFB_ACCUM_RED_SIZE, 24,
    PFFB_ACCUM_GREEN_SIZE, 24,
    PFFB_ACCUM_BLUE_SIZE, 24,
    PFFB_ACCUM_ALPHA_SIZE, 24,

    PFFB_SAMPLE_BUFFER, 1,
    PFFB_SAMPLES, 16,

    None
  };
  pw->setFBConfigAttrs(fbAttributes);
  pw->open();

My channels are 640 * 480 & my shadow map size is the default one (256,
I guess)

> You're using stencil layers ( not compatible with shadows
Why are stencil layers not compatible with shadows???

I have tried the demos and there is no red square...

I hope somebody knows ANYTHING about that strange behavior.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH for the help.
