Sorry, I dont have any useful infomation.
However...
I have an Performer-application which has my own OpenGL-GUI and the window
for GUI is on another window.
Both of Performer window and GUI window are on the same base-window.
When I used O2/IRIX6.3, it worked fine and there are also no problem on
O2/IRIX6.5.2m.
But in the case of on Octane/IRIX6.5.2m, strange behavior appears.
osview says...
CPU Usage
%user 8.92
%sys 5.44
%intr 0.91
%gfxc 24.26 <- graphics context switching
%gfxf 0.00
%sxbrk 0.00
%idle 60.47
With O2, gfxc indicates 0.00 and user indicates little more above.
Though I can't test it on Octane/IRIX6.4 now, it's possible my application
works fine on Octane/IRIX6.4.
If you don't use heavy gfx_context switching, this has no relation
with your phenomenon.
Thanks,
