Avoid using gr_osview in Performance testing graphic applications it introduces
extra graphics context switches which will make things even slower. Osview
(text version) or a tool like Windview or IRIXview (new in 6.5.X) is a better
choice. These realtime debugging tools come with a lightweight collector client
called `rtmon-client' and can give you really accurate picture of just what is
happening in your application. You can add your own timestamps into Windview /
IRIXview output using `rtmon_log_user_tstamp()'. IRIXview comes on the React
4.0 CD.

I have not notice any difference in performance between IRIX 6.4 and IRIX6.5.3
for Performer.
