Intrinsic Graphics is hiring outstanding software engineers with a
background in real-time graphics, visual simulation technologies, and the
SGI advanced graphics environment to join our research and development
team. Chris Tanner, Rémi Arnaud, Brian McClendon, and I founded Intrinsic
Graphics nine months ago to create an entirely new way of developing and
deploying advanced real-time applications across a broad range of hardware
and operating system environments. The success of these ideas has lead to
considerable growth, and if you’re one of the best friends of Performer,
then we’re looking for you.

Graphics Software/Reference Applications: Design and implement reference
applications that showcase the capabilities of an innovative environment
for developing and deploying real-time graphics software. If you know what
it means and have what it takes to build the next Perfly, then this is the

Graphics Software/Visual Simulation: Tasks include research and development
of advanced techniques for high-performance out-the-window visual
simulation in the training system and engineering simulator contexts.
Graphics Software/Human Interface: Tasks include development of a flexible
interface structure for human I/O devices, including motion trackers, eye
trackers, HMDs, joysticks, and motion platforms; development of
configurable motion models for flight, driving, and database inspection.
Graphics Software/Data Management: Tasks include development of flexible
file-format translation and compilation tools and utilities; performance
analysis and tool construction.
Graphics Software/Application Modules: Develop high level components that
abstract and implement major elements of interactive graphical applications.
