PF Fatal/Internal in pfProcess.C

Anyone have experience with causes for the following error:

PF Fatal/Internal(2): Assertion failed:
_pfCurrentPipe->pf_getFrameCount() != frameCount || frameCount == 0 in
../../../lib/libpf/pfProcess.C at line 5557
PF Notice(11): Caught SIGCHLD. Exiting due to death of
child with pid 21567.
