This is exactly what I have done until now.

But I saw another possibility at TU Braunschweig where they used a combination
of two vof files (one for left buffer, one for right). The trick is you can use
the same stereo application for active and passive stereo presentations. (only
need to load another combine file)
But the most important fact is: Due this method I could use my OSF-Motif GUI
for passive stereo presentations, also.

Therefore I'm interested in such vof files.

I remember somebody told me a source where a lot of vof files may be available.
Unfortunately, I can't remember the URL.
