Hello,

I was hoping someone could elaborate a little bit on the way that the
pfASD node does its queries for point location... I'm particularly
interested in any performance issues here... Is the calculation done
taking the heirarchy of the mesh into account, or is the projection simply
an intersection test against the finest grain LOD? In the application that
I'm working on I frequently have 50-300 or more objects that need to be
tested against the terrain... in my first brain dead tests of 50 units on
the terrain I found performance to be lacking... I'm sure that has at least
some to do with my implementation...
For example, does the number of queryArrays in the pfASD matter? Should I
put all my units in one query array for best performance... or does it matter?
Have other people had good/bad experiences with this functionality of
pfASD... could someone give me pointers on optimization here?

Thanks for any insight!

Robert Stein
