2.2 is the latest base performer release. The 2.2.x upgrades we've
been referring to are either done as patches or shipped along with
IRIX 6.5.x upgrades (or sometimes both).

No -- performer_eoe 2.2.3 only ships with the IRIX 6.5.2 maintenance
upgrade. You'd need to load base 6.5, and then load the upgrade.
(Or do both simultaneously).

As an aside -- I'd recommend 2.2.4 over 2.2.3. A number of users
have reported various problems with 2.2.3 (especially on O2's).
2.2.4 fixes them. It ships with the 6.5.3 maintenance upgrade.

Yes, although it's pretty large you can download the whole 6.5.3
upgrade from support.sgi.com under:

I don't know the official name but they'd know what you meant
if you asked for the 6.5.3 overlay cd's.
