First, it was wonderful to see so many of you at the SGI European
Technology Forums over the past several weeks. I hope you all found
the forums productive and informative.
We've converted the presentation slides to HTML and will be adding
them to the Performer web site shortly.
And now, a few quick administrative items:
- The link to our archive site (http://reality.sgi.com/performer)
was temporarily broken. It's fixed now.
- info-performer-request had fallen behind while I was away and has
now been processed. We currently have 975 subscribers.
- On another note, there's been a disturbing amount of spam (junk
mail) sent to info-performer-request over the past few months,
and I have concerns that spammers may soon find our main
distribution address. If/when this happens I'll add various
anti-spam mechanisms to the list.
- As I discussed at the Forum we've just finished Performer 2.2.4,
which will be shipping on the IRIX 6.5.3 overlay (shipments
should begin soon). Now is a particularly good time to report
any problems you've discovered in Performer 2.2.3 or 2.2.4 to
your support provider so that we can get them fixed in time for
2.2.5.
