Hello,
I am experiencing problems with billboards on an Infinite Reality system.
My application is using Performer 2.2, and I am trying to use the
PFBB_POINT_ROT_EYE rotate mode for billboards. This mode seems to work fine
on other systems, but on our IR system the billboards face the user but do
not stay aligned with the eyepoint Z-axis. Instead, they seem to rotate in
some other manner depending on the position and orientation of the eyepoint.
We observe this difference even when our application is statically linked to
Performer, so it is not a difference in the Performer libaries which are
installed on our machines. Is this a known problem with Performer? Could
it be a problem with the version of OpenGL which is installed on our IR?

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks,
Dan Oberlin
