Here are some informations about a problem we encountered.
This could interest some of you who are using local lights.
Our imported model (an .obj one, but the format is not important here)
looked flat with a local light even so we had specified a smooth
shading.
This was because of the pfdBuilder.
When importing models, the pfdBuilder, via the pfdTMesher, builds
PFGS_FLAT_TRISSTRIPS instead of PFGS_TRISTRIPS when the builder
local ligthing mode (PFDBLDR_MESH_LOCAL_LIGTHING) is OFF.
But, the local ligthing mode OFF is the default.
So, if you are using local lights be sure that the
PFDBLDR_MESH_LOCAL_LIGTHING
mode is ON while loading files.
Bye,
Isabelle.
Note: Perfly works with an infinite light.
