This sounds like it might be a HW problem with the TRAM. Normally TRAM
failures are pretty obvious, weird colors etc but no doubt there can be
subtle TRAM problems too. I suggest you try running a standard demo like
texcube that you know looks alright on 'good' HW as a testcase and if
possible run the customers application another OCTANE to double check.
