Hi performers,

To help you understand my problems using movietex, please find
image files attached.

When I look at videoin on our Onyx2, the image looks great
The same video when is watched using movietex, looks very bad
(I think Problems in scaling and also in fields).

Attached here please find examples:

Example of movietex

1) snap.rgb - I am connected the video out from the GVO into the Video
In of the Divo, so when running movietex, I basically should get part
of my screen.

2) snap1.rgb - example of video played on O2 and brought into
video in of Divo. The image is displayed using videoin and it looks very
good.

3) snap2.rgb - same image as above, displayed using movietex. You can
see all the lines going across the flag

Another missiion which we need to accomplish, load .mv files into
texture memory. The movies are SGI JPEG format. We know that
the Onyx2 does not have ICE, so:

1) Is there any format the the Onyx2 can play in real-time ?
2) Any other ideas ?

Thanks

Roni Kass
