If we could ever get SGI to "oh-so-kindly" help out with specs for the
GFX subsystem (and some of the other nifty features), I am sure that
there would be *plenty* of people willing to do the linux port for
free. I'll sign up right now. But I think that it will be a long time
before SGI and/or Microsoft ever agree to port applications like FSG
and Performer. I have heard them make the "Well, we are looking into
it" response WRT Fahrenheit, which I am pretty sure translates to "In
your dreams buddy!"

Still, I am going to the rollout here in Boston on Monday. I want one
of these things even if it does mean having to use NT.
