Thers is something I've been wondering about, and since I've haven't seen the
Vega NT wrapper and it is somehow related to this... well here it goes:

How does NT handle the real-time aspects of demanding visual simulations? I
mean I've used NT and Win95 and the OS's scheduling is pretty lame, even for
productivity applications. Open a file, and there goes interactivity...so
although this issue has to do with the OS rather than Performer or some other
API, it still puzzles me how can such an OS do real-time sim. This is not a
critic, it is a question.
