Subject: Shared memory in forked processes.
Hello,
When using vega and performer calls in an application with forked processes,
is it better to :
1. Make all shared memory with pf calls
2. Make all shared memory with vg calls
3. Mix them up.
I noticed that with a pfGetSharedArena, a call to pfMalloc fails where a
call to vgMalloc succeeds.... seems fishy.
Will (pf,vg)GetSharedArena or Malloc point to separate areas?
Thanks for taking time to read, and for any help.
