Hmmm... i would not label it an oxymoran but rather
an exception. Some years have 365 days, some 366,
one had quite a few less...

And let us not forget that this system of counting was all
done long after the fact (i.e., no one was thinking, gee it
is year 27)....

Finally, why be so rigid on a matter that is so inconsistant
with most peoples idea of reasonable? Heck who thinks that
their 41st birthday is special? People like zeroes. If i
bought a new car that had 17 miles on it, should it be
special to me when it turns over 100017 miles or 100000?
