That's exactly my point, if you agree that there
are 10 years in a decade. To say the first decade
has only 9 years is an oxymoron.

You also have to say that the first millenium had
only 999 years, another oxymoron. Ofcourse a millenium
has 1000 years irrespective of the number you label
the first year with.
