I am trying to display some models which exhibit
unexpected culling behavior (the cow.obj model is one).
As I move the models towards the edge of the viewing
frustrum parts of the models (pfGeodes) blink out. I
assume that this occurs when the Geodes are culled.

  Does this mean that the bounding sphere doesn't completely enclose the
Geode? Or is something else happening?

  Setting an entire model's culling traversal mask to 0x0
does not effect this behavior.

  One last question: I've set traversal functions for the
node that I am trying to effect using

scs->setTravFuncs( PFTRAV_CULL, preCullFunction,
                                postCullFunction );

and apparently only the preCullFuntion is being called. Is there
anymore documentation available for these functions than
what is available in the pfNode man page?

  This is with performer 2.0.4 on O2.
