I ran into a strange problem: images generated using the same function
are different!
I'm reading RGB values from a pbuffer using glReadPixel and save it as
.ppm files. If I ran it locally on Octane, the images look like
chessboard. However, if I ran it remotely from O2 (rlogin to Octane and
setenv display to O2), I get the right image as displayed in the window.
Isn't this strange? I do get the same pbuffer configurations on both
platforms.
Regarding my problems yesterday ("texture mapping from pbuffer"), is it
possible to set pbuffer as a texture source with pfTexLoadMode(tex,
PFTEX_LOAD_SOURCE, PFTEX_SOURCE_FRAMEBUFFER)? I don't want to copy the
image from pbuffer to main memory and then paging to TRAM.
Thanks,
Liu
