Hi Jonas.

This is not what I'm seeing here.

I'm using MultiGen II Pro, and had to recreate the attribute file for
the texture:

 u,v: clamp
 Min Filter: Trilinear MipMap
 Mag Filter: Biliner
 Tex Enviro: Modulate

What I have are strips of constant transparency, which is what is in the
alpha channel of the texture. So you have bands from left to right with
decreasing alpha. You might percieve a line between the bands, but
that's
simply due to the step in the transparency between bands.

Try to check which filters you're using to load the texture.

Next you could use the texture editor to create a texture which goes
smoothly from white to black, then do an intensity to alpha conversion.
