Problem with dted loader.

I have been trying to use the dted loader in performer 2.2
but I have found that it seems to work on level 0 but not
on level 1 dted data. When I load the level 1 data I get
hundreds of points that have huge +- values. I tried
using the 'builddted' program and it gives me the same
thing. Has anyone else encountered this problem?
Does anyone know where I can find a loader that
can handle level 1 dted? Thanks.
