The flight loader scales the colors a bit. If you fill in the color
1.0,1.0,1.0,1.0 by hand you get a problems with the lighting. Part of
the geometry that is facing the light source is to bright, part of it
is clipped at 1.0. You lose the impression of a round geometry because
a lot of polygons are drawn with full color. You can try it with a
cylinder geometry.
