I think I've discovered that pfdMakeSharedScene() has a bug in Performer 2.2 at
least. I am able to reproduce flashing as Mario describes wrt texture and
lighting states.

It appears that geometry with lighting off, no material, no normals, colors,
texture on, texture, and a BLEND texture environment (all originally specified)
will flash if drawn after lit geometry (and lighting is enabled). The same
geometries will not flash, as the eye point changes, when pfdMakeSharedScene()
is not called.

Regards.
