I have written a pfdStoreFile_iv using OpenInventor2.5 from TGS and
Performer2.2 on an Onyx RE2 running IRIX 6.2.
I started with a stand alone application calling directly
pfdStoreFile_iv, including pflibiv.o in the executable, and everything
worked very well. The problem happens when I try to use libpfiv.o. The
resulting dso is not usable by any performer application. I've tried
O32, N32, igl and ogl, sgi3.0 and sgi4.0. I used par to check if the dso
was found. It is, but it's not what it expects.
Worse than that, I tried to recompile directly the source of the libpfiv
that's bundled with Performer 2.2. It doesn't work! The IV library
included works, but the recompiled version is not accepted by any
performer applications.
Could somebody give me a hint?
