Ahh .. I was trying

pfPostMultMat ( workMat , (const pfMatrix) putinvmat );
                                 ^^^^^^^^

and got

"const.c", line 7: error(1118): cast to type "const float [4][4]" is not
allowed pfPostMultMat(m1 , (const pfMatrix) m2);
