OpenGl doesn't support rendering to underlays. IrisGL used to know how
to render to an X underlay visual, OpenGL doesn't. If you run your
performer app on a native IrisGL machine ( ie pre Impact ) then running
with performer linked to IrisGL should work if you give pfChooseFBConfig
a negative PFFB_LEVEL value but that won't work on a native OpenGL
machine, rendering with OpenGL.
