Hello Folks,

does anyone used the pixel buffer in Performer? I am trying to implement a
software predistortion correction to compensate for the distortion of the
optics of the HMD we use but I cannot find some sample code. Please let me
know if you experiment with this capability. We have a Onyx VTX deskside
with 2x150Mhz and IRIX 6.2.

Does anybody knows if SGI is planning to install a lookup table in its
rendering hardware for fast repositionning of pixel before they come out?
This will allow to make distortion correction very fast by just loading
the lookup table corresponding to the HMD used. Distortion correction is a
real problem when you register virtual and real world.

thanks

Yohan
