yes. in 2.2 we added a new set of attributes to pfLODState
PFLODSTATE_RANGE_FOVOFFSET and PFLODSTATE_RANGE_FOVSCALE.
by default the value is 1.0 and 0.0, i.e. the FOV
changes affect the LOD changes.
by setting PFLODSTATE_RANGE_FOVOFFSET = 0 and
PFLODSTATE_RANGE_FOVSCALE = 1, you disable the changes affected by
FOV change.
we didn't advertise it in man pages since we are not
sure whether people will ever want such behavior.
the attributes are in the header files.
we will document them in the upcoming new release.
