First of all, I think setRange gives you the control you want. The larger fov
correlates to the viewer being closer? I thought the opposite would be true,
that the smaller fov would correlate to a magnification effect, thus the viewer
would appear closer.

Is there a way to make pfLOD ignore changes in the FOV?

I know this makes some people cringe, but it will provide a simple
solution (hack, maybe) in our application where a larger FOV
correlates with the viewer being closer to an object (more detail
desired) - and where pfLOD correlates this as a situation requiring
*less detail. (I know pfLOD is doing the right thing). Combining this
with LOD settings that keep periphery objects simple seems easier than
cobbling a connection between FOV size and pfChanStress.

Thanks,

Steve
