        You need to link your application with -limage to get
this functionality.

The image library can be installed from ....
gl_dev.sw.gldev - o32
gl_dev.sw32.gldev - n32
gl_dev.sw64.gldev - 64

I suspect these are already installed but you haven't linked your
app with -limage.

It's often best to start off with the perfly Makefile for your
application. You know then that all the required libaries/defines
etc are already inplace. Just modify this to produce a Makefile
for your own application.
