problem to compile examples

Hi,

I recently got time to upgrade my Performer to v2.2 with patch
3018 and 3229. But when I tried to compile some examples in
/usr/share/Performer/src/pguide/libpf/C and C++, I got the
following error message:

ld32: ERROR 33: Unresolved text symbol "pfFilePath" -- 1st referenced by
bench.o.
        Use linker option -v to see when and which objects, archives and
dsos are loaded.
ld32: ERROR 33: Unresolved text symbol "pfNotifyLevel" -- 1st referenced
by bench.o.
 ....

Did I forget to install something?
I am using O2 with IRIX 6.5, and MIPS pro C/C++ 7.2.1.
