I don't know the true solution to this problem but it certainly
doesn't sound like the intended behavior. LOD nodes are individually
evaluated in the CULL process and only effect their own children.

I wonder if you have some sort of top-level LOD node as a parent to
-everything- else that is switching to the 'off' level, so the rest
of the graph (the "on" subgraph of that LOD) isn't being traversed.

Perhaps a good way to see what's happening is to view the scene graph
structure in perfly via the "Show Tree" button and verify that the
LODs are laid out as you expect. Or, print the scene graph.
