Polhemus on IMPACT

This isn't really a PF question, except that I need to know this for my PF
apps.

I run my Polhemus sensors connected to an SGI serial port + using the MR
toolkit. For my Crimson RE it was easy - plug the sensors in + off I go,
but that doesn't seem to work on my Indigo2 IMPACT.

I notice that on an Indigo2, but not a Crimson, the ports can be
configured via the System Manager to be a terminal, a printer or a MIDI
device. I've tried all of those but to no avail.

Can anyone suggest what I have to tweak to get my port set up right?
