Since we do Virtual Studio on a Performer based application and I would
like to common VR technik into my scenario like Billboarding and LOD.
we are using Realcamera tracking which means that real Camera positions
is
recognise in the 3D Space and the renderer gives the output in the right
perpesktiv.
also the position of the person who is acting in the 3D Space is
recognised by the System.
A tcp/ip server / client interface is written so that every host in the
network can receive the
positioning datas of Camera and the persons in the defined physicaly
room.
now i would like to add the Modelfeatures from VR technik( in flt
format) like billboarding and
LOD into my Scenario but not the Cameraposition which represents the
Virtual Camera in the rendered SCENE
should be the interface , the position of the real person in the virtual
space should be the interface of
LOD and Billboarding like a subjective view from the person.
for examble.
The real person in standing in front of a door an comes closer , then
the door opens for e.g.
the rendered perspektiv of the scenario is different an represent the
position of the real camera which can moved free in
the space.
ANY idea how to start whith that or is this Interlligence in the Model
them self ?
