For some reason I always overlook this place too, so you're not
alone. In 2.1, pfconv.c and pficonv.c are shipped in

performer_dev.src.sample usr/share/Performer/src/pguide/libpf/C/pfconv.c

In 2.2, that's now moved to:

performer_dev.src.sample usr/share/Performer/src/conv/pfconv.c
