Yes, thanks Guillermo I have been using those examples. I think
   I wasn't specific enough in my question though. I had previously
seen
   a demonstration, and read a paper about using cliptextures as insets
   to larger less resolved textures. I was curious if anyone has some
   demo source on this. My problem is that I have a large area to
   texture using a texture image of a map and I also have high
resolution
   imagery from a platform overflying the area that is both large in
   pixel count (5k x 5k) and high res for the covered area. I hope this
   clears up my question a little bit.
