Performer programmers:

Atari Games is looking for a programmer for the San Francisco Rush Coin-op
team. San Francisco Rush Extreme Racing, San Francisco Rush the Rock Alcatraz
Edition, and San Francisco Rush Wavenet are all the latest products of the
"Rush" line of arcade racers from Atari. Rush is Atari's biggest coin-op
racing game since Pole-Position, and is out-earning all the other racing
games in the domestic coin-op market, even after being on the market for
over a year.

The driving model for San Francisco Rush is based on Hard Drivin' and Race-
Drivin' and is felt by many to be the best coin-op driving model ever produced.

Atari Games is located in Milpitas California, which is just north of San
Jose, just east of Sunnyvale and Mountain View. (The weather is great.) Atari
Games recently celebrated it's 25th anniversary; and we still have legends
of the industry that have been here for more than 20 years.

Much of the original San Francisco Rush coin-op was inspired by work done
with Performer, and some early prototyping was also done with Performer. As
a result, we currently have a system where code is developed in a UNIX
environment and 3D geometry is created with Multigen.
