I have a model which is translated from 3ds format to .iv, to .flt
( for textures) and finally load into performer. However, the number
of triangles per strip drops to 1.25 when it's exported from multigen,
which we suspect is the major cause of the slowness in performer. The
traversal of the GeoSet shows that most are of type QUADS or FLAT_TRI.
Is there any way to increase the number of triangle/strip
(re-modelling?)? pfdMesh doesn't seem of help in this case as we don't
have TRI Geosets.
Thanks.
Liu
